Daemon entered the story quite by accident. Just as Bunni and Sherry Ann were climbing the stairs, due to a broken elevator Daemon collasped while pushing his Hurrman chair up the stairs for the same reason. Alex rescued them and brough Daemon inside, shrinking the chair, and befrending him in the process. Now Daemon watches the kids as Alex works or when he has to adventure for the betterment of his family.
Although muscular and rather strong he is clumsy and spends much of his time and magic cleaning up his own messes. However, if he can juggle the items then they rarely ever fall, and only break by his strong grip. This impies that there is more to him than he lets on.
